We were at Greens Lake today!

There has been quite a bit of rain here recently and the edges are a bit muddy. The day was sunny but there was an icy wind blowing.

We moved on to Aysons Reserve which is beautifu. Staying overnight then moving on to see the painted silos at Brin an a couple of other places.

I am trying to update some photos of Greens for the regulars to see. Dougwe's spot by the boat ramp is occupied.

The last photo is our view at Aysons

Icy wind in Vic now for a few days although this morning it was not that icy. This afternoon different story. Just looked up Aysons Reserve. Looked nice. I'll put it on my definite maybe list.

We were at Greens in Sept and Oct. 2016
Had our awning ripped.
Great spot in spring when the wind does not blow.
Will definitely revisit.

Now we know why Mr Green Lake himself ( Doug) is currently enjoying the summer sunny days of Far N. Qld.

Shut the front gate!

I heard my name mentioned on the poota even though I was out sunbaking in the 27c sunshine biggrin

You will find the Greens Lake section under the sub forum in Get togethers. There is also a Sticky at the top for pics.

Looks nice and green there. I will give GMW a ring to have that poacher evicted biggrin

Nearby Ayson's Reserve is a lovely spot but both of them get ''overused'' by long term stayers. Victoria has plenty of great ''free camping'' spots all over the State where you could spent

3-4 weeks at each rather than ''stagnating'' in one spot for 5 months. The contrasting environments in these places help to stimulate the brain.laughing.gif  laughing.gif

Good thing about Australia is we can choose to stay or go if we want. If we are abiding by the laws/rules of the site then you know what they say "different strokes for different folks" I want to see as much of this country as I can but I'm in no hurry, I'm on the road fulltime. Stretch
