We are travelling down the coast and looking to stay near Bundaberg and trying to decide in which order to try and get a 5 night booking if possible. Options are Moore Park. Burnett Heads, Bargara, Elliott Heads. Any suggestions which to go for . We like fishing, not bowling, not a real busy place and we plan to check out Bundaberg from here. Thanks for any help. I have read reviews but they all sound quite good. We have a 21' van so maybe the sizes of the sites will make the difference
My preference in this order would be Elliott heads or Burnett heads, both great. I have not stayed at Bargara and Moore park I avoid, but that is a personal conflict with the manager and nothing to do with the park . Also check out the Miara caravan park it to also a Bundaberg council park and a lovely spot. good luck all of them will be quite busy this time of year.
We stayed at Bargara at the park opposite the surf club in June for a week. We stayed in the "old. Farts area" at the tennis court end. Great bunch of regulars that were very nice to be around. Good beach for swimming , lots of walking tracks and close enough to town to walk if you like a drink with dinner. Will try Elliott Heads next year.
