Our 2017 trip to Exmouth towing out 6mtr boat PART 10

Late start after yesterdays happenings and Lambies Birthday today.

We are traveling 432km to Leinster with a stop in Mt Magnet to do our 5000km oil/filter change and lite lunch. As we always eat in Leinster in the dry mess for $20 a piece.

Sundays in nowhere. Not a sole all the way to Mt Magnet. We left at 10am and back on the road At 2pm with a fresh oil change next to the road house in Mt Magnet.

Every stop is a mandatory check of trailer bearings and tyres. I have a dodgeie Right rear tyre that I hoped would make Kalgoorlie. Rather than chance a blow out we pull up 8km East of Sandstone. I check the tyre and make the call to change it out. Its only a 20min change over and all go's well, till I see a Dollar coin lying on the road. My lucky day.smile

Then I saw 2 more on the road. Lucky Mesmile.

I looked further and call to Lambie, Get your ass out here. Whats Up GOLD. Gold $1 dollars coins every where. We picked up 46 in total over 100 metres. we walked hundreds of metres in both directions. That was it. confuseconfuseconfuse How does one find 46 coins in the middle of nowhere.confuse Lucky Us.

If you like having a good feed Try the Dry Mess in Leinster A BHP Biltition Town. The CV Park powered site $20 for 2 Adults Hot showers and 24hr credit card Servo.

Next Stop Frazer Range Station via  Kalgoorlie for a fuel stop. To be continued...................................

Went to that dry mess in Leinster a few time, good tucker, and as much as you want to eat

The odds of finding 46 dollar coins, when you stop to change a wheel, in the Sandstone area, would be about the same as finding the needle in the haystack
