The best sausage rolls ever

Burkes bakery Euroa. Wow. A good sausage roll has the right amount of onion and has some carrot. Esk bakery has some pearlers! And nice bread. Ive heard Yackandandah bakery has good ones. Where are your favourites?

what makes a good saugage roll is the amount of lard used in the pastry, Hugo bakery in Smithton had the best I have ever tasted

My wife, late mother-in-law & daughter make the best sausage rolls. Sausage mince, onions & apple. Too many commercially made ones are too heavily seasoned for my liking these days. Family tradition handed down.

Nice snap...yum Hey Jim. We dont diet on holidays but once back home - no bread, sugar, spuds, high fat, flour, pasta and rice. Lost 11kg in 11 weeks. You can have pasta or rice if you add one tablespoon of coconut oil in the boiling water then once cooked and drained refridgerate for 12 hours before eating....that process halves the calories. You can google it "rice pasta coconut oil scientists" ps ...we are on long holidays.....;)

Creswick in Victoria - between Warrnambool & Daylesford. We found them accidently & walked back for more but with a queue out of the bakery & up the street, they were gone! The shop is a MUST now on our visits to see our daughter.

Kempsey? Pie shop on main rd going North.
Is MY memory of best pies etc. meat and fruit.

We always stocked up with what would fit in fridge,
and Freezer in tray.
Usually half a dz. biggies. and fill up corners
with singles and Saus, rolls.

I ALWAYS put ON weight on that part of our trip.

Don't know why hey.

Is it still there?.
