I joined this forum to get Knowlege


Well my wife and I have been campers all our life. but now have

a van and joined this site for information and have found a lot.

Here we go I read as many of the posts as I could find then followed

advise and lit wick !!!. no bang so this is what I ended up with.

At the hotel/motel at Muckadilla Q. there are two seats out the front.

One is the seat of knowledge

the other is 

the seat of bull****.

The beauty is with this forum you can chose which seat you prefer.

Me I prefer both seats, as there is a lot of knowledge in both.

I made it after looking at others
top grill plate from RTM in Cairns
legs from Bunnings plumbing pipe with ends
they sell them in different lengths

The use of rivets makes me think you don't have a welder: how did you attach the legs?

legs have endcaps that screw on. ones on bottom are welded
so the legs can screw off for transport
I used bolts for hinge this gave a bit of slack to line it up
I then did a spot weld on the nuts to lock in place
