New Caravan Park SA

Good news for people travelling in the Streaky Bay area. A brand new caravan park has opened 4kms out of Streaky Bay. 5 star toilet/shower blocks. Currently $28 pn off peak. Absolutely beautiful happy camping Marls50

That's great news, knew it was in the pipeline but seems to have been delayed ?

Love Streaky but anyone that has been there during the dreaded School hols, well say no more ! we often visit on our way WA to the East and back, so will give it a go next time.

We stayed there in May and paid $28 as well. Everything was still so new.

RustyD -That's definitely the one we stayed at, I can tell by the photos. The kitchen photo is the camp kitchen and the one with the WC is in the main ablutions block. The shower is on the left hand side of the photo. This block has standard toilet and shower cubicles and the en suites all in the same building. I don't know what the en suites in the en-suited van sites look like as we used the main building. Looks like the prices are now $30 per night for 2.

It is by the water and they hire out kayaks.

Yes it would be nice if people recommending things could give a web reference to them. In many instances it avoids confusion.

One potentially nice feature is they broadcast TV to their customers. However no ABC is listed. That means they have lost us.

Hi Jim I am unsure if the park does weekly tarrifs or whether they give patrons 1 free night. Park contact number is 08 7600 0020
