Replacement vinyl on roll out awning.

G'day. I need to have the vinyl replaced. I will be in Waroona (south of Perth). Yes I have Googled them and there are lots of them. I am after recommendations from any one who has used any particular company in the area and are pleased with the job. I do not wish to try and replace it myself.

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

G'day Jack, I can recommend this mob, as we used them many times, back in the days when I worked in the Caravan Hire game......

They may not be the cheapest around, but they do a good quick job.

Jack, I recently replaced a Carefree awning, you get the awning on the roller, its not an involved job to remove the old awning/roller and install the new awning/roller, I think we (self and a friend ) did it in 30 minutes or so from memory. This organisation also give good deals and offer helpful advice. ie. 16ft awning/roller for $590 delivered.

Note ours was a Carefree awning. I do not know what is involved with a Dometic awning. I understand they cost more ( a lot?) and could be more involved with the install.

But there is a bit of ladder work, and if you are not into this, getting someone else to do the job is safer.

We had an awning replaced by Mandurah Caravan Repair Centre after our trip east and weren't really happy with the job. Won't go into detail, but they took their time with it, and the work could have been better. Other work they've done for us was just ok. Won't really recommend them. Another repairer, Frontier RV, gets better reviews.

you can buy the complete awning and roller on line for 1/3 the price you would be quoted to fit it by the experts. There is a vynl place in Welshpool I think that was going to be a lot cheaper than having to replace the whole roller assembly.
