We are Off


Well we are off for about three weeks heading to Coober pedy to meet friends then slowly meander back to vic.

camped up at the show grounds in Burra tonight had a good meal at the pub with tonights  " neighbours " they are from tasie.

its a bit chilly here though defiantly going to have to fit a diesel heater .

Have a great trip and if you have the time the drive through to Maree is worth doing as you will cross the painted desert, there are also some multi coloured sandstone hills just north of town that are great at sunset.

We have made it to Quorn and met up with friends here, will stay 2 nights here, doing the Pichi Richi train trip tomorrow .
Thanks for the tips , the painted desert is on the list if possible, need to check out the road conditions first and the weather forecast.

Doug I have had words with the boss and I'm not to think about that W thing at all .

Woody, good to see you are in SA, the best state!

Enjoy the outback. There is a great little eatery in Quorn called Millys on the main drag. Also Parachilna has a top (and only) pub, great meals.
