Just packed up by trike & trailer for a weekend at Jung (18km n/e of Horsham). Cold but stunning clear & sunny weather. Big campfires and plenty of anti-freeze for the veins. 80-100 campers maybe.
Seen as no-one is going to answer you Macka I'll have a go, the engine is a Rotax made in Austria and owned by BRP who own Can-am, See-doo, Lynx snowmobiles and Evinrude, they are a 998cc 3 cylinder engine. The Byke and I use the word loosely is a spin off of these 3 wheelers from Britian.
As an old biker I can see the attraction in these, especially if you suffer some sort of disablement or are just getting a bit rattly. But I'd miss the lean, swoop and excitement of real biking. No more bikes for me sadly, I think. Too much spent on fishing. But one Powerball.. and there's a nice civilized Moto Guzzi 750 waiting out there for yours truly.

Just back from my camping trip. My Spyder has a 998cc v-twin from Rotax. Same motor as used in an Aprillia Super Bike. The new Spyder has a 3 cylinder 1300 cc engine across frame that BRP also use in their Seadoo. The 3 wheeler test is all cars. Sit inside with a steering wheel. The only similarity with a Spyder is 3 wheels.

the ones with one front wheel even more so.
And don't they shatter when getting dragged down the road.
Somebody got GOOD taste in bikes there.
"Guzzi" was my fav dirt bike after the Dakars.
Just not quite happy with the way they stuck the transmission pan out
underneath the front ends.
Plus unlike the "Dukes"
they didn't need to drag a tool box along behind them either, hey.
That's the word Macka, the Guzzis are more reliable, although I've heard they still need to be looked after to stay that way. Never owned one myself but I keep telling the Mrs I'd like to before I kick it.
