Leaving for Quilpie and beyond Tuesday. Roads are generally one car width. Usually with good edges and gravel so you can pull off safely. Haven't been out that way for a year, but they are improving them all the time. You should have no problems. No dirt roads that I know of when you do the loop.

Just dodge the roo carcases and don't drive over old bones. Roos and emus are usually out and about all day.

Can be uneven surface but generally quite enjoyable driving.

Please, if someone pulls over for you use all the road and stay out of the gravel.

 Hi Old Crofter

Its been a year since we were out that way, Eulo, Yowah up to Quilpi.

Enjoyed our short stay in Yowah, hot water was hot,  we had the experience of 40 mls of rain causing a bit of local flooding around Toompine Pub.

Roads system out there was not to bad, we were traveling along about the 85ks mark not in hurry enjoying.

Local farmer we had a chat with first rain for 4 years, he was near in tears with joy as he was desperate and about to walk off the property though drought.

Photo showing water over the flood way, didn't take any risk, slowed up, just enjoyed.
