I have a Jayco Hawk camper trailer and am trying to decide which electric mover to buy. We have a fairly flat parking area at home but very confined and it is difficult for my wife and I to park it inside our garage. Also my back is not getting any better! We travel mainly on sealed roads so road clearance is not a big issue.
I am thinking of getting a PurpleLine Titanium mover. Does anybody have personal experience with this unit fitted to a Jayco camper trailer. Specifically has anybody had problems with ground clearance? Also does the unit pick up a lot of dirt, say from road construction work, that affects how it works?
I have a Jayco 2004 Heritage and Purple Line movers fitted they are great, cost a lot of money fitted to a double axle. (4 units)
When you go to a caravan park and the onlookers that watch but don't help are surprised when I unhook the caravan on the road and use the movers you can see the disappointment in their faces. I do back in if it a good site however if it is tight I use the movers.
I have had 2 heart attacks and cannot move the caravan around and it has made life easy.
Purple Line are a great firm, I needed advice and their got back to me twice with assistance.
