Hi, BARME1 - and welcome to the forum - hope you enjoy and use it to help with things, like pet friendly camp spots, recommendations about caravan parks, free camps etc.

There is also Wanderest, Richmond, NSW - you can stay three nights I think, it is in the back carpark of the Richmond Bowls Club. Very secure with coded boom gates, you membership gets you discounts on drinks and meals, etc., - yes, you join the club for a very nominal fee, and that entitles you to stay there over the next 12 months - good idea to book in the busy periods, especially if you need power, water is available at several spots. There are hot showers, toilets, and a dump point.

Not sure about pets, though, but if you only wanted a few days in Sydney, this might be the place to go.
