Just arrived home from a trip. Chinchilla Caravan Park remains a favourite. Stayed there again and can offer a high recommendation. Thought I would mention Miles Crossroads Caravan Park has reopened after a lengthy spell. Did not stop there but noticed new amenities blocks, from the excellent park/amenities opposite. I was surprised the chap at Major Mitchell Caravan Park, Mitchell, said they had had a quiet season. It is a very good park and the people talked to in the CBD were all lovely folk, whether in business or otherwise. Have previously encountered this and rather like the town and the caravan park. Stayed at Mill Motel and Caravan Park at Tambo for the first time and it was seriously good. Good enough to recommend.
