Victorian Lakes

A few of the lakes I camped by in western Victoria this year. No shortage of them. Such a great part of the country to travel around.

Cheers, John.

In order, Lake Colac, Wooroonook Lake, Lake Lascelles and Green Hills Lake Aararat.

Thanks, John. I actually even tried putting it in upside down too, but that didn't work either.

Cheers, John.

Try Lake Ratzcastle, Hindmarsh & Bringalbert next time. All in Western VIC & all great free camps.

When I was at Lake Hindmarsh a month ago it was dry as a bone.

Cheers, John.

Nice shots John. When in Victoria we only got to check out Lakes Wartook and Fyans in and near the Grampians.. oh yeah, and Wendoorie on a cold grey afternoon. Seems there are lots more to check out over there in the future.

Try some of the estuarine lakes on the east coast, you may never camp inland again!

Yes it does dry out occasionally but not like the nearby Lake Albacutya which is always dry but still has great free camps at Western Beach, Yaapeet Beach & O.T.I.T.

Lancelot, we went in to check out Marlo as we went past. Wow! Great little spot. But due to time constraints we couldn't stay. It's on our bucket list though. Were told Mallacoota is hot too.
