Bushmaster caravans

Hi to all in this forum, I have learnt so much from this group over the years about setting up a van and tow vehicle but all from the outside. I have now come to the inside to ask a question.

After 2 years of drifting around it is now time to change our van and car so we can get to some of the places that we have not wanted to take our existing setup. While we have been to a lot of remote spots there are so many more at the end of bumpy roads that we want to get to a bit more comfortably.

One of the leading contenders for our new van is the Bushmaster (not tracker) Blue gum. My problem is that I cannot find any comments, good or bad, about them on the net, in forums, they get no mention on the Lemon Caravan FB page and there does not appear to be any owners groups.

There are really none for sale second hand which gives the appearance that owners are happy contented people that dont have anything bad to say about them and just hold on to them for a long time.

In our travels, we have seen a couple but at that time we were not considering a new van.

Is there anyone out there that know of them, has one or knows people with them that would be willing to give me some feedback? Also how has the experience been of dealing with Terry at Bushmaster getting your van or if there has been an issue to resolve.

Everything with them seems good at the moment, from what I can see, but as a man I respect once told me, trust and then verify.

Regards

Peter

Gday...

Firstly, welcome to the forum ... on the 'inside'

Welcome 01.jpg

I haven't owned a Bushmaster but I have seen them and have talked to owners of them when I have met them on the road. They all seemed very happy with the van and the service they had received both pre-sale and post-sale.

I can only offer these - but I guess you will have already seen them ...

2014 review - https://www.caravanworld.com.au/caravan-reviews/1404/bushmaster-bluegum-offroad-video-review

2015 review - https://www.caravanworld.com.au/caravan-reviews/1510/bushmaster-bluegum-offroad-review

Hopefully there is a current owner who can advise if those reviews are worthwhile commentary.

Cheers - John

Welcome to tha gang Peter K, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I know nothing about what you ask and prefer to not give advise on Dens or Tugs so will go back to finishing what I was doing before. Mmm, that was nothing, oh well, I better finish that then.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Gee that's a great van at a reasonable price for what it is.
