The twins are over at Balding bay, Magnetic island, where all the no clothes, "balding" people go. Trust me , I'm a fisherman...........

Enjoy your stay in Townsville. We arrived in Cairns on the weekend, and have started enjoying the balmy weather. It is so sad, however, seeing all this beautiful ocean and not being able to swim!

Good to see that you have arrived back in God's Country doug.

We are currently at Town Beach Tocumal for a cpouple of days before calling again on our families in Victoria before the trip home at the end of the month. Probably will not see the family again for another 12 months or more, hence the final visit for this year.

Enjoy the north with your family, mate.

Doug, enjoy time with the family. We are home after 8 weeks, some family things to do then hope to head north in about middle of June. Don't know where to yet.

I'll be in Rowes Bay C/P Townsville for the 1st 2 weeks of July before heading further north...the golf course will see me quite regularly.

I stay in my van at my daughters place in the 'burbs' Ray. No views here. Take care of any wild crocs wandering around there at 'The Bay'. That's not far from 'THE' beach either.

As I said just send up a smoke signal.

Croc's fine. Just drop a dog in first. they keep it occupied for a while.
Chuckle.

And the Army pub.
Down by the boat club. did the best Chili Con, in North QLD.
was good for a Reef and Beef too,
But that was 15 yrs ago..

Thanks Glenda for the offer. I have been coming here for 12 years this year, flew up four times a year for a weekend only due to wife being sick a lot. When I lost her to cancer 6 years ago this year I decided to drive up each year and spend winter with my daughter and grandkids. I am in my CV on her property.

I was on the big Kobelco Excav.
digging the sand out to bury the Mangrove mud
for lake beds, and profiling the batters.
back in '94ish. I did day shift.

Enjoy the best town. AND climate in Aust.
Just don't go for a swim much ok.
