I am sorry to hear that Phil. It is such a loss when those we love leave us and there is no easy way to deal with that. However I can assure that whilst time does not heal all wounds it does dull their pain and if you did not feel pain then you would not have felt love for you mum either. It is the price we pay for loving.

I can feel just a little of what you are going through

I lost my Mum when I was a young 23 years of age
I lost my Dad very recently

In both cases the hurt was the same

Sorry mate.
It hurts.

Mine died at 98yrs. would be 104ish next month.

One consolation though.

Her body may have gone back into the Earth.

But SHE.... will always be with you in your mind.
Until the time YOU go into somebody's mind.

we all do it.

Just think of her often hey.

Sincere condolences mate, Lost my Mum a few years ago now and still miss her very much so I do know how you are feeling right now. Be grateful for the friends you have around you and with time you will remember the good things about her.

We never really get over the loss of a loved one we just learn to live with the memories.
