Midnight nature calls

Had my first van trip for a couple of night with family to make sure I could handle setting up annexed etc. I would love ideas to not have to trek to the loo in the middle of the night

If you can find a space for it, buy a porta-potti. I think mine was about $150. Pennies well spent.

Get up and go for a walk.
Exercise will do most of us good anyway.

Can't have dust and cobwebs there. Can we.

Di.
Porta Potti

BUT...
Sitting job.
Toilet block REGARDLESS....
Never the lumpy one inside van at any time.

Well our van at 10'6", had to have shower cubical with portaloo and...access door for emptying. Our 13 week quick "lap" was a delight with that convenience. I believe it is essential. If we didnt have it I'd rig up a hose to under the van but my wife would have to do the wiggly walk With an old crook back the hot shower every morning gets me moving.

Best idea yet. Bought a Go Girl and followed instructions trying it at home first. However in the early hours and half asleep, proved a disaster.

all well and good for the blokes. In the pitch black of a van park with not much lighting it's a bit daunting . Found heaps of advice on you tube so there

Gday...

cry I can understand the predicament ... even as a bloke.

Perhaps you could make use of one of these -

buckh1.jpg

It is what the majority of vanners used in years gone by ... and then, with lid firmly in place, carried it to the amenities block in the morning.

To be honest, I have noticed some of the 'older couples' on my travels who still make use of this handy device.

cheers - John
