Mount Wilson

We just did a trip over to the Ironfest at Lithgow. We spent the first night free camping at Mount Wilson. What a gem of a place this is during the autumn months. The colours were breathtaking.

Did you travel in or out via Mt Irvine? If so what was the road like?

I don't think you can take a van thru from Bell's Line of Road direct to Mt irvine, you would need to travel to Mt Irvine via Mt Wilson, it's a long while since I last went thru there in a 4wd but on google maps it shows the 17.7 k's of road as 1 hour in by car and when I went thru it was 4wd only.
Cheers
David
