Sideways Photos

When posting photos of late they have been appearing sideways. Anyone know why that may be happening? Thanks.

Cheers, John.

Not sure of the reason why, John, although it does happen to quite a few Forum members. Probably related to the device you are using to access the Forum. If you can advise what make and model of computer/tablet/smart phone you're using maybe someone can provide a solution.

Cheers, Joe

If you do a search you will find it's something to do with ipads, is it something to do with the positioning of the device I'm not sure. After reading many posts on this forum before becoming a member I found many people knew how to fix the problem before posting and others correcting afterwards, but with little problem sharing on how exactly it can be done.

I have found that if taking photos with the iPad or iPhone, have the home button positioned on the right hand side. The photos come out correct when posting to forums then.

Appreciate the suggestions. Thanks. Photos taken with Samsung, S5, S7 and an Ipad, have all come out sideways here. I have posted them using a windows 7 laptop that has windows 10 installed. Weird thing is, it is only doing it sometimes and only this week so far. I even tried rotating some photos different ways on the laptop before posting, and they still all came out, rotated one turn to the left on here.

Cheers, John.

ADDITIONAL INFO

I have also posted 2 photos in the same post at the same time, and only one was sideways, so I deleted them and tried again straight away and they both ended up sideways. confuse

Cheers.

My wife uses an Ipad and Iphone, she seems to have similar problems at times.

I use Windows 10 exclusively, never any issues.

Desert Dweller, that looks very much like a 1939 Standard 10, which was my first car around about 1959. I drove it for about 6 months with a buggered clutch which was a real test when going into the Skyline Drive-in pictures. Having to start in first gear, with no clutch when it was stop and start at the drive-ins was a hassel.

It's the Hay Plains NSW, reputed to be one of the flattest places on Earth. As you drive the 48kms from Hay to Maude (bitumen), it's on the left hand side out in a paddock.

The only tree in the paddock is growing through the car. https://madoqua.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/have-you-ever-visited-the-hay-plains/
