Its our opinion that all 20 plus RV manufactures should be made to install holding tanks [Heavy & light grey combined plus a black] system capable of lasting a family at least a week, as is the direction in many counties.
Your comments please J
It is my understanding that most manufacturers offer holding tanks as an option where it is suitable to do so, at least that is the impression I got from the recent Perth show. People who want them can order them or have them retrofitted. In my opinion there is no reason to "legislate" their inclusion in RV build. I'm a strong believer in freedom of choice. As it is most of our "freedom" is slowly being whittled away.
Jayco is Australian owned by Gerry Ryan. He stepped down as CEO in 2015. A search via Google would have shown that. There is a Jayco in the US, no affiliation.
In SA during the drought when it was not allowed to use water from the reticulated system to water gardens we were encouraged to use grey water. We did for several years. All of the water from our washing machine went straight to the garden. Once grey water is stored for more than 24 hours it is toxic and becomes black water.
Over the years we have done a lot of 4WDriving and so bush camping. We have always collected our grey water and then put it to use on plants.
