What is a Minny? Are you referring to a Morris Minnie Minor or a Winnebago Minnie? Perhaps Micky Mouse's Minnie is what you are anxious to discuss? That's three that I'm aware of.

Seabird area, because that is where I first men a bunch of Grey Nomads from this forum, (good people) who know who they are
Greens Lake, because that is where I met a second bunch of Grey Nomads from this forum, (good people) who know who they are
Cliff Head North, it stinks of seaweed, the toilet is antique, nothing else there except a big rubbish skip bin, but the Dolphins are in their own environment
1. Norfolk Island (3 times)
2. Kakadu National Park NT (planning a return visit for later this year)
3. National Parks in the Victoria's Mallee Region. (almost every year at various locations)

I haven't really noticed that much angst lately FE but I'll play the game -
If you're including places outside Australia -
Needing to change my underwear after getting up close and personal with an angry elephant in The Kruger
Cruising on a small boat alongside breaching whales off the Valdez Peninsular, in Patagonia.
The Savoie region of France especially in the summer when the roads are still open and you can cross the top of the alps.
In Oz I agree with Macka everywhere is good - but our favourite areas rather than places are the surfing beaches of northern NSW, fishing spots along the remote Pilbarra coastline and of course all the different wine regions wherever they happen to be located.
Can't really pick a top three, and sometimes a place is special more because of what's happening around you than the place itself.
But having said that: 1. The cliffs of the Great Australian Bight/Nullabor.
2. Thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful day watching the Penny-farthing races at Evandale Tasmania.
3. Afternoon cruise down Geikie Gorge on a still day when the reflections were picture perfect, and I'll add a forth
4. Flying over the Bungle Bungles in a helicopter.
and a nice relaxing day anywhere is good too. Enjoy your travels. Cheers.
Yep we liked Canada too . But we did that on our own . We seem to enjoy it better when whole or one of our families come with us . 8 years ago we hired a motorhome in NZ with my son, daughter in law and grand child . We had a great time . The main reason we did a trip across US and back all 8 of us. The company you share things with helps too !! Planning on doing South Island next year in motorhome in summer . Yes away from cities . Yet some THINK away from cities is bogan . That is their opinion . Staying at the Hilton is not seeing the country !!
