Armadale Road from Grafton

Hi, is the Armidale Road from Grafton to Armidale via Coutts Crossing and Clouds Creek. Is it ok for a 7 metre long 2 wheel drive motorhome, or is there a better safer way to get to Armidale from Ballina ?

This subject was raised two or three weeks ago with varied comments. Might be an idea to use the search facility and see the comments. I did that route around three years ago and did half in the dark. The scenery is beautiful but in places narrow and winding with some hairpin bends with a 15 kph. advisory limit. My motor home is 27' 8.5 tons and I was towing a Suzuki Grand Vitara. For me it's been there done that and if I have to go inland from Grafton again I would go the Casino route.

Semi trailers use that route without trouble, There should be no problems for you to go that way.
