Signature question

Are you allowed to put relevant but commercial websites in your signature?  I read the forum rules but no mention there.

This forum is pretty strict on the advertising, there's provision to place a web address in your profile and you can give a short speel about your business in the Bio section, but I think web address is frowned upon in signature & bio sections and definately a no no in forum posts. You also need to becareful how you give any advice so you don't promote yourself in anyway, which is sometimes difficult knowing your advice can and will cost you possible sales.

I just consider myself as a Grey Nomad like everybody else and I'm happy to help out where I can as well as seek advice from time to time, hasn't really done anything for my business and I'm very much OK with that.

Regards Steve.

Oh, Steve, Im embarrassed now.
Its not even my business, it belongs to family. Its a caravan park.
I am not coming on here for any other reason but to learn about the grey nomad lifestyle and talk to people who live it or dream of it.

I can't see why you couldn't mention it, where it is and maybe pricing.

People mention where they have been, stayed and costs all the time on here.

Anyway check with Admin on here because some people get too politically correct about some thing which has nothing to do with them in the first place.

Thanks

Helen

Hi Helen and thanks but I think I'll leave it. It's a very popular park so they hardly need me spruiking about them. biggrin
