55LBS SPANISH MACK

I used to chase prawns when it wasn,t the mack season, but didn't like the night work.I the good old days, they say. There are only 2 working pro fishers on Magnetic island now. Used to be dozens. Less stress doing it for fun.......

You have the good life.

Dad must have liked it, he did it alone, no deckies.
I think in the end he went out for twelve nights at a time, correct me if Id be wrong, I know nothing, I just remember bits and pieces of stories. His boat was probably the smallest in Townsville, a steel hulled 36 footer built in Geelong in the late 60's as a crayboat out of Barwon Heads.

Sorry to hijack, nice chatting with you.
