The battery would be good for a few days, I would leave it on

Turn it off, will hold just fine. Painters and Dockers are no more. so no one will lift the lid.

whats the point, just about any thing you have will be checked and removed if it violates the rules of what you can bring in.

Ron Hi, Why would You want to turn it off? There is no danger. If You were camped up over night You would leave it on. I am guessing that the dual battery system was installed so that You could do just that. When I go on a trip I don,t even think of turning mine off. I have my freezer at either -12 (conserving batteries) or -18 (not worrying about batteries).

They will check for Dangerous Goods, Loose LPG, Metho (drink it before You get to the wharf) Firearms etc. The gas fridge in Your van will have to be turned off.

Enjoy the trip.

Mike

If your battery capacity is OK, leave it on as per normal.

Cheers,

Leave it on. I would like to be confident the battery supply is pretty well up there, first, but overnight should not ever be any kind of issue. Turning the fridge of is likely to result in an internal situation that requires attention (think smelly and manky internals).

is As long as you haven't got a live fox in it, leave it on, unless you have an old battery! Seriously, should be good as long it cold before you set out!

I guess it depends how much is in there ? If reasonably full it could be turned off overnight due to having enough bulk in cold mass . Either way it won't use much battery if cold in the first place . If it's just a 1/2 litre of milk ? I would turn it off .. I tend to keep fridges running though .
