"A WANTED man suspected of ramming a police car in February and stealing a car in the Riverland just days ago has been arrested in a stolen caravan in the states Mid North.

A Jayco pop-top caravan had been taken from Moonta Bay on February 23 and was spotted by police at the Saddleworth Caravan Park on Saturday.

Officers from Balaklava, Riverton and Port Wakefield staked out the empty caravan and arrested a man who returned to it about 8.30pm."

He certainly didn't move far from the scene of the crime.
