Two blokes living in outback Australia saw a couple of workin' jobs advertised by Buckingham Palace looking for Royal Footmen for the Queen,

to walk beside her carriage.....

They duly applied and were flown to London for an interview with Her Majesty...

Her Majesty said " Because one's Footmen must wear traditional long white stockings, one must see your ankles to be sure they are not misshapen..nor swollen.."

After they Royally complied and showed their ankles, the Queen said:" It is also important that one does not have knobbly knees, so one needs to view your knees as well."

Once she has viewed their knees she said: "Now everything appears to one to be in shape so now one requires you to show your Testimonials".

.........Some five years later, when the Aussie pair are finally released from Dartmoor Prison Farm, one of the blokes says to his mate..

"I reckon if we had just had a bit more Education mate....we could have scored those Royal jobs"......

......and I'm reliably informed one of those blokes was not Rolfy Harris......!
