Hello ,in the 2 fotos i have a gas burner ring ,one with supplied hose to go on a gas bottle ,the other foto is of our gas bayonet hose that connects to the caravans gas bottles .My question is ,can i use the gas ring off the the caravan bayonet hose ,is it suitable or not .
I would have thought that your caravan outlet already had the regulator connected to give the right pressure so having another one wouldn't work. If I have the wrong idea. Sorry
Dave
Thanks Dave ,my question should have been ,can I use the burner with the hose from the caravan gas hose ,which already has a gas regulator on it .Cheers JOHN.

Thanks Gooba ,The one without the regulator is the one that fits the caravan ,and i have a brass fitting for it that reduces down to go onto the burner ,as you can see in the foto .Would you use thread tape on the fittings .

The fitting on the stove has an internal taper, as you can see in the photo. There should be an external (arrow shape) taper on the end of the hose (inside the nut). The tapers do the sealing when the nut tightens them together.
It's hard to put something simple into words.

If you are going to leave it on permanantly a liquid thread sealant would be better but if you are taking it on and off pink or yellow Teflon tape would be perfect.
