Rachet straps

hello everyone, we r wanting to buy rachet straps. I have seen some lime green ones In our travels. We have only found ones that r very heavy. We r looking for light ones to use as gy ropes on our annexe. Anyone know where they r sold? We have been to bunnings Already. Thanks

you can try some of the larger camping store ,rays outdoors ,down under camping
possibly super cheap or BCF
but it surprises me that Bunnings don't have them as our local store ,which is only half the size of most ,seem
to have a full aisle of straps and ropes as well as the landscaping section which has shade sail straps

I was in $2 shop O.M.G. this morning. They had a range of them in the tool section. Take care you don't pull the van over on its side Cheers Pete

BUY a reasonably Heavy Duty strap . Might be a bit dearer to start with.

Ya 2 $ shop ones . As soon as they Are exposed to sunlight , will start to break down . In a month they will be useless.

You going to use springs with those or just crank them down that tight that there is no movement?

What I didn't like with ratchet straps as guy ropes was that they vibrate & hum in the wind.

I use flat straps to hold down my kayaks (not ratchet types - too much power for the hull) & to stop the annoying hum I twist them so that there is no flat surface on offer to the wind.   I have seen others put lengths of pool noodles over them too.
