"Hang on" Hey Jim, Before you go to the naughty corner, biggrin

You mean to say you got two desk fans & two pedestal fans for the total price of $48 ???

Are they a quiet 12v or do you have to run a genny to keep cool if camped in the bush ???

Hi KJ,

They are AC240 volt. We aren't allowed to use Air Cons over were where staying.

We have to use the Yardie Novotel Tent for three months.

We use the to desktop fans to circulate the air around both the bar fridge and chess freezer at floor level. and the pedal fans in the bedroom and living room. It gets Soooo hot over in Exmouth. All the logistics to camp for this period.confuse

Jim

We got one of the BBQ's last time they had them - needed to buy an additional bayonet type hose to suit van outlet as hose supplied only had BSP fitting on it - used it a few times and it was good for cooking fish outside of van - hot plate was a little hard to clean, so I suggest you use a BBQ sheet rather than cooking direct on hotplate. It works and a good price, not much more than that is needed.

Aldi quality is patchy at best. Sometimes things are good, sometimes they're very ordinary. We've recently struck a few duds!

I'll be queuing at the door to buy the twin tub washing machine and 12 V fan. We planned to buy the same washer at the Caravan Show in April but this a good price and will pay for itself in no time. The good thing about Aldi is you can return it if it doesn't live up to expectations.

I have to admit that after doing our fortnightly shopping at Aldi,

we had a surprise at the final tally on our bill, at least $100.00 or more cheaper than any other Supermarket,

And if anyone says the meat quality is not there, we have news for them, had some Porterhouse on the BBQ last weekend

it was the best, tenderest meat we've had in ages, plus $6 per kg cheaper than anywhere else,

"Yep" Aldi will do us from now on biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

P.S. NO I don't get payed by Aldi !!!  evileye

Yes Keith we too. We brought a S/S dishwasher last June @ $399. Thus far we have had 5 service call outs to fix. We wanted a refund. Not happening. So we have 2.5 years left, of the Warranty. It will be the dearest dishwasher they have ever sold.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Cheers Jim

@ dogbox

We were yesterday at our local RTM ( Road Tech Marine )
we came in to look for some Fans
ended up with nothing, we checked the rechargeable battery operated fan
and the small Oscillating fan
both make a fair bit of noise
so we wait for the Aldi one next weekend

Cheers John

Sorry, ALDI not for me, can't get what other stores get because of where we are! Have to travel excessive kms to other stores! Just another global conglomerate rip off merchant.  We sell you what you think you want!
