Hi KJ - we checked this new Milligan Island spot out on the Australia Day weekend as we were camped at Sandy Cape and had heard this had recently opened. Here's a couple of photos - nice facilities including undercover BBQ area & drop dunnies.
Cheers, Kay & John

Howdy Kay and John,   That does look like a good spot to camp,

Thanks for posting the pictures,

Only two things wrong with it as far as I can see, or rather what I have heard, that is,  Why must they charge $15.00 pn  and only allow two nights stay ? I would rather have a free camp as it was before it was developed , our van is self contained, as are many others, we have no need for shelters and BBq's, we also have a toilet in the van, so no need for one of them as well, !!!

Secondly, with the new site, I believe there is no vlew of the ocean,  as it is stuck behind sand dunes, this was not the case at the old camp, right on the water's edge lovely and FREE  !!!

in my opinion there is nothing better than sitting right beside the ocean, in a deck chair, with a fishing rod in one hand and a glass of red, or white in the other , watching the sun dip below the horizon.

My idea of a good camp is further North at Cliff head North, this is a, free 72 hr camp and there, one can sit right beside the water, that is, it was the last time we were there, about a year ago, I sure hope they haven't buggered it up as well.

Our next trip, upper wheat belt for the wildflowers in July, that is if we get enough rain  LOL

Cheers  K.J.
