I to have small wheels on the tandem boat trailer. I have run Kenda 9 x 6.00 light truck tyres six ply rated at 100kph,@ 650kg each off the top of my head.
They were getting expensive to replace from tyre outlets @ $140 a pop with tube.
Then I found Geo tyres online $89 for the same tyre. Geo tyres is a subsidiary of the parent import company and sell direct to the public.
As I do big km's every second year 14,000km to the west. They told me that if I got 20,000km from a set, I would be doing well. I tow the boat fully loaded @102km on cruise control. All up weight 1850kg.
I have just brought another 4. This time round on sale @$75 with tube.
I have never had one blow on me in 23years . Hope this helps.
