A timely reminder today or yesterday a caravan caught fire when free camping I'm not sure where I think along the Murray when refueling a generator near the caravan where the fridge is installed the fuel ignited due to the vapour from the pilot light, the gentleman was badly burned but could have been worse if it wasn't for a mfb fireman camping g nearby and a nurse also camping nearby, haven't heard how the gentleman is doing hopefully will be ok I'm a bit hazy on the full details someone else might know all the details take care everyone regards danny
Heard the MFB guy on talk back, he heard the "whoompf" , so that close. There was also a nurse onsite and emergency guys came quickly. Airlifted the victim out. This warning can also apply to any aerosol can being sprayed close to 3 way which is on gas operating, say ant/ mozzie spraying. cheers Craig
