We recently visited Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park in NE Victoria. We finally managed to get some decent shots of Turquoise Parrots. We haven't seen them since the 35mm film days back
in the early 80's. They were almost extinct at one stage. http://www.birdlife.org.au/bird-profile/turquoise-parrot The other shots are of a White-throated Gerygone. It was the first time we've managed to get photos of them as well.
Our Australian Bird library is now over 300 different species of the 450 species that we've seen.
