Yes we had the problem, the wife brought these bamboo sheets. Spent most of the night pulling the doonna back up and fighting for the bed cloths. Will check to see what has happened to stop the problem.

I got some elastic straps with clips each end. You clip to one end or side of sheet then the same the other end. Works well. I got them from Spotlight.

What do they say, don't bother knocking if this van is a rocking.
Yes, we to have J.... o van. Lambie steals the lot, and I roll over and turn on the diesel heater to max till she gives em back.
We use a King Flanette sheet on the bottom, and from now on, next trip we will try two queen singles on top. One Each. Bugger you Lambie. I will win yet.
We had a piece of ply that during the day lived under the mattress and at night we simply pulled it out the required few inches to support the end of the mattress. Was probably about 2 ft in depth (length? the bit under the mattress) so the weight of the mattress holds it in place and supports the end of the mattress. Think from memory it was only 3 ply. The end of our mattress was curved so we just shaped it to match.
We have a starcraft as well with similar "problem". The amount of doona on the dirt is directly proportional to the amount of movement on the mattress and inversely proportional to the angle (north south) of the caravan.
In other words, its something we have gotten use to, however sufil sounds like he has a good idea.. Then again Im not sure I want to play with ply wood. We have an electric blanket under the sheets and a doona. Most nights SWMBO has the hot sweats so Im nice and warm.... Please dont tell her I said that.
Cheers

My hubby made a bench stool that fits perfectly under the end of the bed and supports the end. When we need to, we take it out and use as a seat or coffee table

I got a dirty mind. After reading the first half of the sentence, I immediately thought the second half would read proportional to the angle of the dangle.
