Driving home from golf yesterday just after 11am it was pleasing to see some big turnouts at a couple of locations that I passed i.e Wallsend & Speers Point. What really surprised me were the number of school kids in uniform that were attending these services. Remembrance Day has always been a little more low key than Anzac Day so it was good see these younger people taking time out to pay their respects.
