Hi All,

Planning our trip to Tassie next Feb, and are wondering what is the best option prior to catching the 9am ferry, from the mainland.

Travelling in a Motorhome, can we stay at the dock the night before? Is there accomodation close (we are not early risers), etc,etc.

All suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.

May I suggest you go to the top blue line above and do a search for 'Accommodation/CVP's near Melbourne' as this has been asked many times with many answers.

As the search button was a bit complex for me, when I first joined the forum

No mattter where you stay you will have to be ready to board the ferry at 0730, so an early rise on the day.

We have been three times only came back on the day ferry, we parked in a side street overnight in Devonport
