Would be nice if people used state and closest town when they mention camping spots. Lot of us new travellers have no idea

My feeling there will be more free camps closed in future due to the amount of vans n the roads nowdays , its a booming industry with those that can wanting to cash in on it !!....

 I think you are lost, it`s 14 k NE of Murwillumbah. It was NSW camp No 1 in Camps 6.

Stotts Island Reserve (Bruce Chick Park) is closed to camping - day area only - and they have demolished the toilet block.
