We stopped at this pretty place on our way home recently. Room for four or five vans. Beautifully maintained amenities block, $5 00 for electricity. Honesty box. Potable water for your tanks and, Wonder upon wonders, a great big pile of firewood and a nice circle of stones for the fire. We had the pleasure of talking at length to the guy who looks after things and I have nothing but praise for these little hamlets that try and make us lot welcome, they have to do things on a shoestring, and fight the local councils who are reluctant to contribute to anything that does'nt make a quid, but they do it with a great community spirit. We just love these country people, genuine down to earth and always willing to help if you are in spot of bother. Highly recommended if you need a rest between Albury and Lockhart. Yes we did make a decent contribution in the Honesty box.

both for letting us know of a nice little spot and for being honest and making a donation.
I do know that most of our members also donate unfortunately there are those "nomads" who consider that everything should be free for them and refuse to do the right thing. These ungratefuls then would be first to complain when a site closes for lack of funds to keep it going.

I second this great little spot. We stayed there earlier this year. Yes we left our donation and we even had a couple of drinks at the pub with a chat to a couple of locals.
sounds great !! Hope you also posted this in the "free/low cost camps" section, otherwise in a week or so's time this post will be pretty well dead and buried which would be a shame
