Any thoughts on the Talvor Murana VW Crafter ( also available on a Sprinter...$$$)

As I am still in no mans land when it comes to what the hell to get...!!! came across this little beauty...what do ya know or think folks...???

https://www.tradervs.com.au/motorhome-reviews/1306/talvor-murana-motorhome-review

Pros: to me, decent dunnie shower, back lounge, drop down bed, front cafe style breckie set up, under storage for me charcoal bbq. Louton bet up top, Merk arse end.

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-view-details.html?adId=1123794186

Cons: DSG, Direct Shift Gearbox (Dodgy Select Gearbox if thrashed apparently) VW Crafter 5 pot diesel...??? dont know much about them

For around the same $$$ as many others SH that is, prolly the thing that tilts it for me is the drop bed and the decent shower and dry dunnie...??? am I wrong...???

vik... Go for it Oh wise ones with a MH...!!! biggrinsmilebiggrin

Had a good look at a drop down bed model today ( Adelaide actually had one flown in from Mars) ... the verdict was boo, hiss. on the model we looked at,I'm sure all are different,It

Didnt go down enough for starters without makin an effort to get into bed...not my idea of fun, to get it a bit lower you need to lower the table then take apart the lounge cushions...
WTH...??? had a crummy foam mattress on a solid base as in no ventilation for the mattress to breath,so would be a sweat bath I imagine...!!!

Then there was nowhere to put anything once in bed...!!! Your glasses, teeff, a glass of water even a book after night reading.

So we thought get a better thicker innerspring mattress but then the bed wont go up as high so your bangin your head when ya stand up from the lounge...

Mid night twinkle would prolly end up with a midnight sprained ankle tryin to get down...

So for now not over keen on that idea

vik...lookers but no takers...???

Saves muckin around with a cassette , how much less muckin around...??? How much noise do they make...??? how much maintenance are they, bugger all MH mobs use em...!!! wonder why...???

Any posters...???

vik... makes me wonder...???

Dr Google says be scared of front wheel drive, how have you found yours Dragonfly 1 ...??? A FWD would increase the chances of a single bed MH big time... makes me wonder...??? 99.9 % on the black stuff anyway...!!!

vik... any chance of a happy snap...??? biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
