A few facts re the above. (We stayed there for one night in the shoulder period)
No water thats drinkable to the sites. (Bore water).
20cents a time for a four minute shower.
Drinkable water at the tanks. (not able to fill van tanks)
I lost count after 45 Kangaroos on the park with the consequent dodge the mess on the ground that was everywhere.
The clincher? $55 a night. Now, I have stuck to the facts in this, the above is all true. Ok, we got caught, it was not the things previously mentioned, nor was it the roos or the water situation no, not even the 20cent shower, what I take issue with is the use of the word "resort". I have found on recent travels, that this is one of the most mis-used words in caravan park nomenclature. In every way apart from the scenery, (right on the beach) this is a 3star Caravan Park.
End of whinge.

Yep, agree Phil, that word resort seems to be used with a water view and similar these days. I know of a company that has 4 parks now that all have 'Resort' on the end of their name and not one looks anything like what I would call a resort. Caravan Park, yes.
Maybe Greens Lake in Northern VIC should be called "Greens Lake Resort" :) Nah! I'm happy with just good old 'Greens Lake'.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there ( in those resorts :) )

Yep - youre so right!! Theres too many grotty CP's around (plenty I the south west of WA) that call themselves resort and have a 3 ft plastic paddling pool and then call themselves a Resort to charge premium rates for a dump
