I have a full zip up cover for mine, I just wash the BBQ and let it dry, put it in the cover and place it in the back of my vehicle...no smells at all.

I was given a Baby Q carry bag from Webber as a gift a bit expensive (around $130 I think) but does a great job. Its a heavy vinyl type bag with a zip and carry handles you can put it the vehicle or in the van without any worries about smell or it being knocked around when you're on the move. I was just going to stick it in a heshen sack or something but I'm glad I got this Webber one as it's so much easier to just drop the BBQ in, zip up the bag and carry it around.
Being solo and having the twin cab ute, mine travels safely on the back seat wrapped in one of those light weight blue tarps. Even has it's own seat belt. I have no problem with smells either, so all good. Works for me!

Ours travels under our bed fits like a glove. We never change the foil tray either.

By lining the foil tray with foil wrap. All the waste goes in the bin.
We never stop learning.
We put ours out on either two milk cretes or our folding table from the big green shed. Depends on who is coming to dinner. I give ours a good wipe over and wash both grills last after each use, in our separate washup tub in the van.
A few ideas there, thanks. Those with a tunnel boot or an inbuilt cubby hole inbuilt in the side of the van are on a winner for storage of these Q's. I see so many of these Baby Q's around but never gave any thought as to how they are tranported. As small as they are, they still take up a fair chunk of room if put in the rear of a wagon.
