GPS settings for Port Melbourne

Not going to Tassie till March next year but can't get my tom tom to come up with exact address. I put in Station Pier, Waterfront Place, Port Melbourne but it comes up with a different postcode. Correct postcode is 3207 but comes up with 371 something.

It is a tom tom GO.    Only bought it early this year. Has everything except the kitchen sink info on it    lol

Go to their site and check if they have a firmware update, may be a know problem but you have to check for updates.

Looking at my Melway it says Beach St Pt Melbourne . I thought it might have been Beaconsfield Pde . Port Melb.

I'd go for a day trip down one Sun over th crissy hols for a dry run . Maybe come down Sat , hang out on outskirts.

Then go for a run in on Sun morning . It would be pretty quiet going in on Western Ringroad exit after Westgate bridge

at th service centre , cut back & hang a left under th freeway , turn left & head down to St pier.

Thank you Chris61. I put in 9 Waterfront Place Port Melbourne and takes me the same way I went many years ago. It actually shows 7 - 11 Waterfront Place on Whereis site.
Then I put in Devonport and it takes me in exactly the same as above.

Go to Google maps on your computer, find station pier, put your cursor on a point you desire e.g. the road entrance, right klik and a window will open, choose "Whats here" another small window will open and you will see the address and GPS co-ordinates for that spot. Just note them down and manually enter into your GPS.
I do this all the time when planning a route and it works well.
Hope this helps
