Found a Dump point in carpark near boat harbour next toilet block and cold shower near the end of Starboard Drive Bowen

Bowen RV friendly after all , Most of the caravan are very empty most be a very long summer for caravan park owners in the north .

Guthalungra 44 klm north of Bowen is a good free camp , Allows you to spend time in Bowen and half hours drive to a free camp if you don't want to pay to stay in a caravan park

 It only has a 24 hour limit.

You are better off proceeding a little further to Home Hill where the climate is a little more friendly. There are plenty of other places to visit without needing to go to Bowen.
