Wondering who has plans to visit Greens this summer. I know afew of the regulars who will be there including myself off and on between family commitments.
Look forward to catching up with you all, just hope I'm well enough to enjoy it.
TODAY at the market I bought midgee/mozzie suit for 10.00. Will be able to enjoy happy hours now without those peskies biting.
Usual disclaimer and a bit tongue in cheek I like the both types of music, Country and Western
In a serious manner I have Greens Lake on my bucket list
With all things being equal, and with not too many bumps in the road, I hope to be there in 2017 Sometime before or after Tamworth I shall be there for the privilege of being around other Grey Nomads, putting some faces to names, and I shall see the scenery of the lake, as the icing on the cake (Pardon the pun if there was one there)
I was unaware of such a thing as a midgee/mozzie suit, so thanks for that info
I think I'll be there sometime next week. Probably on Tuesday or Wednesday. First I got to drop off my friend who lost his car in accident and got stranded here, in Lightning Ridge. I look forward to good weather, as I got only a trailer and one person cot-tent to stay in for starters. Towing caravan for short trip I find a bit to costly in fuel. Here in Lightning Ridge the weather is great now. I plan to stay at GL a few days and keep going to Adelaide for a week or two, then back to Greens Lakes for couple of weeks. May be longer. Keep well all of you there! :) It will be great to meet you all again, whoever manages to get there.

Unfortunately I won't get there this year, but I wish you and all the others on the side some great happy hours .. Yes, I'm back here again at the GN's and catching up with some former acquaintances .. Is good. That brings to mind, has anybody else had the "inclination" to walk a lap of the lakes since I completed it ? .. in under 3 hrs and 11 mins ? .. heh .. no one else so silly eh !
I do hope to get down that way next year, but have my immediate plans are to be up in Bivouac Junction (near Charters Towers) around May .. maybe after that .. around August ..
There's been a lot of water under the bridge since the early days at Greens as we saw it then .. yes .. I would like to see it now for whatever changes it may have seen !
Thanks again for the welcome Doug .. your style hasn't changed which is good to see ..
Dave .. Still flying mate .. but now have an addition to the hangar .. Drones tend to attract buckshot so I keep it a low profile ha !
Hi to both Judy and you Ken .. great to see you folks are still about too ..
enough for now .. dinner's ready
cheers
