Anybody stayed here?
It is just off Mitchell Highway near enough half way between Orange and Bathurst.
It is a beautiful grassy hillside free camp.
There is NO fee & appears to be no time limit.
We are here awaiting our booking into Blayney caravan park which we arranged months ago for the V8 Mt Panorama race weekend next week.
Had we known of this place we wouldn't have booked the park.
Like everywhere right now it is cold, wet & windy but with better weathwr this would be a great stopover.

Have stayed at Mac Woods many times - (it's gorgeous in winter when it is snowing)
Was last there about 3 months back - it rained non stop for weeks and we actually dragged a few people out that got stuck. So use caution after the rain. Huge area - lots of space - love the wildlife. Very peaceful.
