Our roll-out awning on our Jayco was predominately white with blue trimmings. Minor damage to it and I wanted a new one and eventually found one on Fleabay for a reasonable price and ordered it. Blue naturally to match the Jayco colouring. The new awning arrived and I fitted it but it is predominately BLUE - dark blue. OK - I thought until we tried sitting under it in the full midday sun. It gets damned hot under there, so if you are getting a new awning be aware that it is not all beer and skittles.

I'd go for Aussie Traveller.
They based in Brisbane and will ship all over the country.
I've had a few over 40 yrs here. and seen a lot more.
The Aussie Traveller is the best quality for price I've seen and bought
(The last 2)
There is supposed to be o good one over the West and a Good one down in Lonsdale SA.
Probably others too.
But I've thrown away/replaced 2 x Carefree.
Framework and material. Quality of construction,
leave a lot to be desired in my eyes.
Go to a show or dealers. and compare the roll outs and how they feel/look.
Open, close them first, then decide for yourself.
With annexes. look at fit and workmanship materials, assembly.
I was in Mareeba when my 8 year old fabric on my roll out awning was starting to fall apart look on the inter net found Aussie Traveller , I rang them and quoted $650 for replacement fabric plus $150 for fitting , The next day an local Mareeba guy Taylors arrived in the park and was replacing on on a caravan , So ask for a price $550 fitted make up the replacement much better than the Dometic which was on there .

I spent a lot of time researching awnings when I purchased my van awning.
The down side of both of the awnings you are considering is that they are exposed to the sun and eventually fail (dry out, discolour, fracture, become brittle etc.)
Looked at a few secondhand ones and they all showed signs of the above.
So; I purchased a Fiamma 45L. Fully enclosed in the casing, fabric is not exposed to the sun; yes I have to fold down the legs, but they are not a permanent ficture and/or create wind drag.
You will get heavier material in an Aussie Traveller awning. If you want to extend the awning into a full annex later hey have the rest of the gear, The other two don't. They are also Australian made.

It is possible to make/buy/have on made.
a Cover, Semi Hard that sits over the roll out and protects from sun.
I made one yrs ago. but too complex in reality.
half a doz clip points on caravan wall above roll out with a long length of Light sheet. slightly bent aluminium. then 1/2 doz short stretchy's from top to small saddles in wall below rollout.
Did job but needed simplifying a lot.
still there as far as I know. Buyer was happy with it.
And Yes. Aus Trav. are the better ones for a reason.
Quality and Workmanship..
None Better.

Hi PeterD I am going to look at them for a full annexe my worry is the weight as have a shoulder replacement which is no good but I see that have a combination Canvas one which they seem to recommend Thanks Ron
I have the full A/Trav Annexe too from last 6.5mtr Roadstar.
Made for me by factory on way through one yr.
I's 15ft 4? inches long from memory.
Only used maybe 3 times (short stops with family on board). But it sat in garage for a few yrs.
And where it sat. Folded.
That exposed Square part of lower exterior is a bit grubby.(needs a clean/wash)
The rest as new.
Let me know if you interested. and I'll get it out to measure and talk $$'s if suitable.
weight problem.
Mate had grandkids regularly. Teens.
They have roll out. with full length shade cloth one end. and square tents that fit under the roll out for the kids
Does a good job and NO weight.
IF you wanting it for visitors sleeping quarters.
Shade gives privacy. tents give weather protection. Just a thought.
Have had all 3 brands, Carefree, found they were shorter than most on the rollout, 7Ft6" instead of 8Ft, then had a Dometic, OK but nothing great, currently have an Aussie Traveller for 11 years, would definitely buy one of them again for sure.
