Best Blog site to use

like to ask the members what they consider to be the best blog site to use. Will be starting our trips next week end and would like to start a blog.

Would have to be a simple site to use please. Cheers

I suggest blogspot. Although I haven't used mine for a while it certainly is an easy one to navigate.

Blogger and Wordpress are the most popular. Blogger is simple to use and basic. Wordpress can be as simple and basic as Blogger but has the ability to grow if you so wish, right up to being a full website. Lots of Youtube videos about to get you started.

I went through the same decision a few months back. From my research came down to either Blogger or Wordpress. Chose Wordpress because it appeared simpler to set up. Still learning. Haven't worked out how to set up a menu/archive yet but will ask the question when I start posting more often.

There is no best one. They all have features that suit different needs. You have left it a bit late to investigate then before you leave. Keep with some of them for a while after you have started your trip an select the one that has the features you desire.

Thanks all, will only be doing weekend trips over the next couple of months and this weekend in Qld is a long weekend. So will set of about lunch time and speand the night some where up near crows nest at this point in time. Plans change very quickly in our household.

Will keep a record and write the blog up later if need be. When I started Aquaponics I started a thread which followed the history of my build and operation of the system for nearly four years. Was very interesting to go back through and study the learning proccess. Hoping a blog will be a good history of our envolvment and learning how to handle and operate our rig and the stories to share with our friends. Cheers

CC Bear, Crows Nest has a caravan park and there is camping in the Crows Nest National Park, but you need an e-permit for a long week end. Drove through the camp area a Lake Cressbrook the other day (not that far from Crows Nest) and it looked really good. $8 per single. There's a free camp at Hampton which isn't all that far from there also. I know you didn't ask but we drove around that area the other day so just thought I'd pass the information on.

Thanks for the information was going to head around that area and have a look, will pick a place for one night then move again. Using this weekend to gain experience in driving with the van and setting up. Afew places there we have not been as we often just drive and stay somewhere one night then find another route home. Get to see a lot of good country that way, cheers

Consider weebly. Basic web site or blog is free and very easy to use.
