Batteries

Could anyone recommend a good averaged priced 100/130 amp AGM battery?? Prices seem to vary from $250 to over $400. Are the ones advertised on ebay any good? One supplier states that for a 130amp battery to be of quality the weight must be over 32kg?? Either a 100 or 130 I am looking for.

Thanks for all and any help.

You usually get what you pay for. I have 2 x 105 ah fullriver and got them online about 12 months ago with free delivery.
Shop around I would recommend FullRiver

Had Fullriver (chinese) in last van for over 6 yrs. Still good when van went.

This time I have a "GIANT".
They seem to have good rep, too
and cheaper.

We have 3 x Panasonic LC-XA12100P 100Ah batteries that are coming up to 9 years in use and still holding full charge.

I do know of a chap who bought 2 x 130Ah Power AGM batteries from ebay and had issues with one of them, had to have it replaced. This is within a twelve month period

the biggest problem was the muck around sending the faulty battery back.

Cheers

Noticed your from Queensland but not where in the state. The first battery I bought a couple months ago I got from Beerwah tyres. $249 110 amp deep cycle. Had to take it out and use for my aquaponics, most likely will buy another for the van.
